Spiritual Maturity

One of the most critical situations in the church world today is its lack of spiritual maturity. The vast majority of believers are babes who constantly demand personal attention, hanker after blessings or are obsessed with entertainment. Their leaders are satisfied to minister little more than a light elementary gospel to keep the crowds happy, the coffers full and the many human programs functioning. The general mentality of the average believer today is, "I am saved, blessed and going to heaven."

God's commandment and charge to the church could never be clearer than that stated in Hebrews 6:1-2. There we find, "Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, (the A.B.C's of the gospel) let us go on to perfection (maturity or completeness in Christ);not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works, and of faith toward God, of the doctrine of baptisms, and of the laying on of hands, and of resurrection of the dead, and of eternal judgment." These fundamental experiences and doctrines, like training, instruction and discipline in the natural life, should become incorporated in the believer's life in preparation for 'adult living'.

Revelation of the Father's Heart

Any normal parent desires his child to grow and develop into a responsible adult. How much more does our Heavenly Father yearn for His children to come unto maturity. This yearning of the Father heart is revealed in a number of scripture passages, most significantly in the following excerpts from Ephesians 4:11-15:

"And he gave some apostles,...prophets,...evangelists,... pastors and teachers for the perfecting (maturing and equipping) of the saints...till we all come... unto a perfect (full-grown) man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ, that we henceforth be no more (no longer) children (babes)..."

The vision incorporated in this passage can only become a reality as the church is exposed to the diversified 'five-fold ministry', quality preaching and teaching characterized by the 'meat of the word' and an environment conducive to the rearing of stable and responsible spiritual adults. The church is not to be a nursery for babes nor an entertainment center for children, but an institution for the development of spiritual vision, purpose and maturity.

The 'Corn of Wheat'

"Verily, verily, I say unto you, Except a corn of wheat fall into the ground and die, it abideth alone; but if it die, it bringeth forth much fruit." (John 12:24)

"It was right and proper that in bringing many sons to glory, God should make the Leader of their salvation a Perfect Leader through the fact that He suffered..." (Hebrews 2:10, Phillips)

It would be consistent with the true Father heart that, having obtained one Son (Jesus) made perfect through sufferings, He would desire a vast family of sons just like Him. In fact, according to Romans 8:29, this is the chief purpose for our being called: "For whom He did foreknow, he also did predestinate to be conformed to the image of His Son, that He might be the firstborn among many brethren."

In the passage from John 12:24, it is clear that Jesus was speaking about Himself. He was the corn of wheat that would fall into the ground and die for the purpose of bringing much fruit unto the Father. Consistent with the law of sowing and reaping, every seed brings forth after its kind. If we sow corn, we expect to reap corn. If we sow wheat, we reap wheat, and so on. Jesus was not a babe or a child when He died, but a full-grown, mature son. He had successfully passed through every human experience and testing designed to bring Him unto perfection. Thus, what God expects in the ultimate harvest is not millions of crying babies, but a family of full-grown sons in the image and stature of Jesus, God's firstborn.

The Rich Young Ruler

In Matthew 19:16-22 is given the account of a rich young man who came to Jesus with a seeking heart. He asked, "Good master, what good thing shall I do, that I may have eternal life?" It is evident that, though he sought for something high and noble, he was seeking for himself. Jesus explained what he needed to do to have eternal life; then added a challenge. Would he be willing to go further than have something for himself? "If thou wilt be perfect, go and sell that thou hast..."

Becoming 'perfect' (spiritually mature) would represent something higher than merely having eternal life in that it would provide something (a mature son) for the Heavenly Father. (It would also be costly; there would be a price attached.) Redemption has been presented as providing something totally for man, but it is first a means of providing something for God, that is, a vast family of full-grown sons in the image and likeness of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Paul's Travail

"My little children, of whom I travail in birth again until Christ be formed in you." (Galatians 4:19)

This ' travail' is also seen in Paul's writing to the Colossians 1:26-29. Here he declares the mystery of 'Christ in you' and explains its full meaning in verse 28: "Whom we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom that we may present every man perfect (full grown or mature) in Christ Jesus." Then in verse 29, when he says, "Whereunto I also labor..." he reveals the ultimate objective for his preaching the gospel is indeed the 'perfecting or maturing of the saints'.

EXHORTATION

The Best is Saved for Last

God saves the best for last. He is saving his Seasoned Warriors for the Final Stand.

Mt 9:17 Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, and both are preserved.

Mr 2:22 And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

Lu 5:39 No man also having drunk old [wine] straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.

Joh 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto him, They have no wine.

Joh 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,

Joh 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: [but] thou hast kept the good wine until now.

So he is going to renew, and resurrect the Temples that he as prepared to hold the Wine he is saving for Last.

The definiation of this word WINE, is Angel, or messenger. Meaning the best is kept for last, and those messangers the Lord is saving for Last, to Proclaim his word and speak the truth in Love. He has a Special Anoiting for those he has saved for Last, and even through there Temple may be old, the Anoiting they Hold will bring Eternal Life unto many.

NEWSLETTER

The year is going by FAST and things just keep changing, and God is blessing many lives. The Ministry is busy, and often we dont have enough time to up date things like we need to. Many Prayer Requests come in with no Email address, or the Wrong one. So this is the only reason we may not answer someone. We need all your prayers to keep things in order and to make sure that we are doing what he wants us to do in his timing. We welcome any of you to send in articles that relate to Women, or your Words from the Lord. You are all welcome to get involved in Ministering to other Women if you feel the Lord is leading you to be a blessing.

So Keep the HeadQuarters for the Ministry in your Prayers. God is able to make away where there was know way. We know its his will to move to this Holy Hill, and we need your agreement.

We are getting ready to Change the Home Page of the Site, and we would ask your Prayers for that at this time. Pray for our Web Designer to be guided by the Holy Spirit, and for us to have Gods timing in all of this. We will be up dated other pages and slowly coming into a more Vibrant Look in the next few months. Pray also for the Phone Ministry. This is an area where the enemy has tried to block us. The Anoiting on it is very Stronge, but the timing to Minister to Women on the East Coast dosent work well, and we get alot of Requests from that time zone. We are in Calif. and we do work durring the day, so timing for Phone Ministry is often tricky. Pray for the Lord to perfect this area and make the crooked places straight.

We want to take this time to wish you all a Wonderful Mothers Day. This is a Special Day in the lives of us who have children. We Pray the Lord will bring all your children home, and surround you with his Love and honour you and perfect all that concerns you and your Family.

Keep the Prayer Requests lifted up. There have been many, many breakthroughs in Peoples lives. God is Faithful to watch over his Word to perform it in our lives, and as we all agree in Prayer, he is Faithful to move, and do above all we could ask or think.

Good Bless each and everyone of you, your Families and Homes. Love to you all in Jesus Holy Spirit,

PROPHETIC WORD

Heart Motives

What are the motives of your heart when you come to me my little ones? Are you seeking my heart and laying your hearts on the altar of sacrifice to bring forth my perfect will in this hour? Or are you still holding on to all manners of self as you try to do the work of my kingdom out of the fleshly desires of your hearts?

I desire a children, whose hearts are set on following the words of the Holy Spirit in all they do, whose motives are pure and who have no other desire than to please me. I desire a children who want to surrender fully unto my spirit, because they love me more than there own bodies, and selves. I desire those who willingly give their whole selves to walk in unselfish love, and according to the leadings of my spirit. I desire pure hearts in service to me, purified by my fire. I do not desire my children to walk in self - and in unpure heart motives that serve only their own agendas and programs. Ask me to show you what is in your hearts children that you can walk in the fullness of my spirit in this hour. The only thing I desire for my children is that they walk with me in the fullness of what I have for them in this hour.

Search your hearts children, examine your motives, and see that your motives are pure in service to me. Some of you have allowed pride of self promotion to contaminate your hearts in service to me. You have come to me with pre-conceived ideas of what you want done in the kingdom, and what you want accomplished now in the kingdom. Self agenda and promotion have propelled many of you into self exaltation that has tainted my work through you. These works are birthed out of self, and they are deadly works of the flesh.

So repent, my child, come to me this night, ask me to show you whatever is not of me in your hearts, so you can repent of it. Repent of all that is not of me that is trying to rise up in you now. Repent, and I will cleanse you with the consuming fires. I desire that you will walk in the fullness of all that I have called you to in this hour.

THE BRIGHT AND MORNING-STAR

Re 2:28 And I will give him the morning star. Re 22:16 I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, [and] the bright and morning star.

Lu 1:78 Through the tender mercy of our God; whereby the day spring from on high hath visited us,

Lu 1:79 To give light to them that sit in darkness and [in] the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the way of peace.

2 Pe 1:19 We have also a more sure word of prophecy; whereunto ye do well that ye take heed, as unto a light that shineth in a dark place, until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts.
