Entering into the Sabbath Rest

Hebrews Chapter 4:
9 There remaineth therefore a rest to the people of God.
10 For he that is entered into his rest, he also hath ceased from his own works, as God [did] from his.
11 Let us labour therefore to enter into that rest, lest any man fall after the same example of unbelief".

In order for us to enter into His rest, we must cease from our labor! We must believe God and have our lives totally hidden in Him. We must cease from trusting in our own strength, our own labor's, our own ideas and enter into the kingdom realm under the divine lordship of Jesus Christ so that we may do only His will. It is in the kingdom realm that we are equally yoked with Christ. This is the essence of the works vs. faith based doctrine. Wecease from our labors that we may enter into His rest ..to do the will of the Father.

It's His grace, His power, His labor, His works...finished from the foundation of the world (Hebrews 4:3)...the finished work of Christ. We simply wait on God and allow Him to display His handwork and let Him move as He pleases, when He pleases, and through whom He pleases so that He may gain the glory He deserves and fulfill the plans He has laid our as He sees fit. All emphasis is on God from this perspective, not man. His works will stand! Our works will always fall short.

Entering the kingdom is for now!

Matthew 6:10 "Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as [it is] in heaven".

Paul teaches us, "let us labor to enter into that rest". That word labor is spoudazo (4704 in the Strong's) and means to be diligent, endevour, or makehaste. This is also borne our in the NASB translation. So Paul is saying that we should be diligent to run to the cross and die to our ways so that we may enter into His rest, having divine fellowship and intimacy (to know Him - Jewish idium for marital relations; two becoming one) with the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit that we may be fully capable of doing the will of the Father under His power and not our own efforts.

Dear Precious Prayer Partners.

The Prayer Line has been very busy, and the need for prayer has never been more important. We are depending upon you all to hold up our hands, as we keep up with the changing times, and the mounting needs of our World. Relationship problems seem to be at an all time high, and of course cancer is always at the top of the list in many requests. So we are entering a new phase of PRAYER in our lives, and we need the Holy Spirit's help more then ever to teach us how to pray as we ought.

As for the Phone Card plans, they have fallen through with the company we had plans with. The competition with big companies was too great, and they closed their doors. So pray for direction on this, perhaps the Lord has something else in mind that he is going to reveal.

Stacy and her family need prayer, she has had some serious problems with her husband had a heart attack, and her daughter was ill. Her online situation isn't good, she has computer problems that keep the Email from working properly. Pray for new changes and updates for the site, since we still need the message board. We are thinking of starting a TESTIMONY PAGE, or making it part of the Newsletter. So send in those Praise Reports.

A lot of phone lines on the INTERNET called Routers, have been up and down between HotMail. So some mail isn't working right. We will be posting more Prophetic Words that are current on the Words for Women Page, so check that out to see what the latest Prophetic Word is.

PROPHETIC WORD

BOB'S PROPHETIC WORD:

I. WARNING TO SPOUSES, ESPECIALLY HUSBANDS

Husbands, love your wives. Quit taking your wives for granted. Your first priority is the Lord, and the second is your mate. Husbands, give your wives some time. Get rid of all anger and bitterness. Those who have this right will be used as marriage counselors in the church. Anger by itself is flesh, but if you let it get a root in you, it becomes spirit, and you become defiled. Because of your anger, the enemy can lead you into all kinds of immorality through the access he gets through your mind, your anger. Do warfare with that anger. Get rid of it. Don't hide it any more. If you're angry, it's your sin, not your mate's. It's because you haven't forgiven. Husbands are so busy that they tend to leave out their mate. Delegate personal time with and for her every week. The Lord is warning husbands about this because they can so quickly lose it all. Deal with that anger. Forgive. Bring it out into the open.

II. WE HAVE ABOUT NINE MONTHS OF PREPARATION (JAN-SEP) TO PUT ON CHRIST

PRAYER & POEM

Father we Pray to have the patience to wait on you in these last days and allow you to work in us both to will and to do your good pleasure. Let us take upon us your yoke, because His yoke is easy and His burdon is light. Help us to cease from our labor's, our ways, our thoughs so that we may enter into Your rest. AMEN.

The Path

The path to God is narrow, I've heard them say, Seemingly so for those who have lost their way.
Holding on tightly to God's promise of Hope, That we may start a fresh on each new day.

When I started on this path I knew not where it would lead, But God already in me, planted the seed.
A little faith is all I would need, to begin to follow his Lead.

So my journey begins with prayer, soon I feel His presence there and reassurance that, I'm in his loving care.
Troubles come as they often do, but he has placed people on your path to see you through.

Everything you need has been lovingly placed on this path for you.
I've come to believe the words God spoke are true, Staying on the path my faith Grew and Grew.

Now I am able to see the path thus far has been my journey to step 3.
Turn your Will and Life Over to me.
