Love Affair

Song of Solomon 8:7
"Many waters cannot quench love;
rivers cannot wash it away."

    Oh how we dream of falling in love with Mr. Right and living each day in full passion with him, sharing our most tender and intimate thoughts with him. There has never been anything that can even compare to the feeling of being in love and living in passion with the one that we love. There is just a certain natural high that goes along with being in love, it's almost a mystery...

    So many will spend literally hundreds of dollars yearly buying romance novels, just itching to get a quick glimpse of the feeling, many will have extra-martial affrairs yearly to feel this passion that they may not be getting at home, many will turn there soaps on daily to get an hours worth of this feeling or rent a movie to feel this passion, and then there is many that will only dream of this feeling and never actually be able to feel the realness of this gratifying feeling.

    Where do we find it? Where is love and romance? Is it in the music that we listen to on our radios? There is one country song out at this time hitting the top ratings, it is sung by a teenage artist; "I want to fall in love." This artist stresses the desire to fall in love, to feel that touch, wants to feel it running through her heart and soul, says she can't live with out it.

    Now, how many of us, honestly now, can say we've felt this same way at one time or another? Our problem is, we get too eagar to fall in love and to feel that touch. And at times we may settle for lust and not really love, true unconditional love; with passion and intimacy.

    Is it that we are looking in all the wrong places? Where are many looking for love? In all the wrong places...

    The place that each and everyone of us can find love is simply by opening up our Bibles and reading the word of God. We then learn who Our Lord is, come to the place of knowing him, then we draw even nearer and get to know him better, and then we grow into a personal relationship with Him ( Jesus Christ ). We make personal time alone with just him, just you and Him. We can share our deepest darkest secrets, desires, our concerns, our love, our passion with Him. He is the true One that can set our hearts a flame with the love and passion that we are crave. He has given each of us this feeling of desire, many just focus this desire toward individuals of the world and not for the true meaning of this feeling that He has equipped us all with.

    This is the true meaning and feeling of where we are to place our desires, with Him. Until we can come to the place of putting Him in this area, we will never be completely satisfied with any love affair that we have, true contentment of these feelings comes when our heart are on fire for the One who gave His life for you and me, that is Jesus Christ. Do you want to fall in love, do you want to feel His touch, do you want to feel Him running through your heart and soul? Seek Him, and these desires plus more will be totally, 100 percent met.
